Who we work with
Sectors where we know the detail
01
IT and Diia.City
Residency, contractor arrangements and foreign-currency settlements. We know how a small bookkeeping error can put the preferential tax status at risk.
02
Representative offices of foreign companies
Reporting prepared both under Ukrainian rules and in the format your parent company reads. We handle currency operations, head-office settlements and local employment.
03
Wholesale and retail
VAT, tax invoices, stock and cost accounting. We unblock suspended invoice registration and keep the company off the risky-taxpayer list.
04
Logistics and foreign trade
Currency control, customs declarations, transport costs and carrier settlements. Document flow that does not hold up clearance.
05
Manufacturing and warehousing
Cost calculation, batch stock accounting, material write-offs and work in progress. We close the gap between the books and the actual shelf.
06
NGOs and grant-funded projects
Restricted-fund accounting and donor reporting with proof that money went where it was meant to. Documents in the format international funds accept.
Services
Five areas, twenty-six services
You can hand over accounting entirely, or bring us in for a single task - an audit, an inspection or unblocking tax invoices.
Bookkeeping and reportingThe daily work: source documents, payroll, HR records and filings submitted on time.
TaxChoosing a tax regime and a contract structure that will hold up under inspection.
Audit and financeIndependent review of the books and a financial picture for owners and investors.
Defence and inspectionsWhen accounts are already frozen or an inspection is imminent, we step in immediately.
Incorporation and grantsStarting a company from scratch and supporting donor-funded projects.
How we work
From first call to first filing
Moving to outsourced accounting takes about two weeks. We take over the books so that no filing deadline is missed - even mid-quarter.
The call
Twenty minutes to establish the scope: transaction volume per month, tax regime, whether there is foreign trade activity and staff on payroll.
Review of the current state
We look at the condition of the books and filings. If there are risks, underpayments or unclosed periods, you hear about them before signing, not a year later from the tax office.
Contract and handover
We fix the scope, deadlines and the responsibility of each side. Then we take over the ledger, source documents and access, and agree how documents will flow.
Monthly work
We keep the books, flag payments due and file on time. Each month you receive a summary: what was done, what was paid and what is coming next.
Terms of service
Responsibility written into the contract
Penalties incurred through our fault are compensated. This is in the contract, not a promise made across the table.
Filing deadlines are ours to track, not yours. A director should not have to keep the reporting calendar in their head.
Financial information stays within the team that keeps your books. Confidentiality terms are part of the agreement.
Outsourcing or in-house
What you get instead of an in-house accountant
Team
Three people, not one
An accountant, an auditor and a tax consultant work on your books together. A difficult question does not stall on the expertise of one person.
Continuity
The books never stop
Holidays, sick leave or a sudden resignation do not leave the company without filings on the eve of a deadline.
Liability
The firm is liable
A legal entity answers for errors under contract, not an employee whose liability Ukrainian labour law caps at a fraction of the damage.
Cost
No hidden line items
Workstation, software, updates, training and payroll taxes do not land on the company as separate items in the budget.
International standards
Crowe ACU
We are a partner of the international audit network Crowe ACU. For your foreign partner, investor or parent company that means a familiar frame of reference: reporting prepared in a format they read without a briefing on Ukrainian specifics.
In practice this means fewer questions during due diligence and faster sign-off at head office.

What clients put in writing
Quotes from signed reference letters. The original of each can be opened and checked.
Thanks to their work we receive timely, high-quality advice and full confidence that our financial reporting is correct.
Over eight years of fruitful cooperation the team at Business Light has proved to be highly qualified professionals not only in accounting and audit, but also in law and employment matters.
You have demonstrated deep expertise in your field, attention to detail, and efficiency in resolving all matters that arose during our collaboration.
Effective work on unblocking tax invoices and a successfully passed tax inspection. Thorough command of both domestic accounting and foreign-trade accounting.
There is no matter they were not prepared to take responsibility for. The result of their work shows clearly during inspections by the supervisory authorities - and ours are annual.
Pricing
Let us size your volume
Choose your legal form and tax regime, and we will prepare a quote matched to your transaction volume.
VAT-registered or not, we will confirm that on the call. The fee depends on monthly transaction volume, headcount and whether you trade across the border.
Every package covers bookkeeping, tax calculation, filings submitted on time, bank operations and advice throughout the month. Only HR records, foreign-trade accounting and management reporting are priced separately.

Questions
What clients ask before signing
How much does bookkeeping cost?
The fee depends on the tax regime, monthly transaction volume, headcount and whether you trade across the border. A sole trader on the simplified tax and an importing wholesaler are entirely different workloads, which is why there is no single price list.
After a short call we name a specific figure and fix it in the contract for the whole term.
How do we hand over if we already have an accountant?
First we take over the ledger and source documents, then reconcile balances and closed periods. If anything is unresolved in the books, you hear about it before the contract is signed.
Handover takes around two weeks and does not require pausing operations. We assume responsibility for filings from the period we agree, so no deadline is missed in the process.
Who is liable if there is an error in the books?
Our company is liable under the contract. Penalties and interest incurred through our fault are compensated.
This is the substantive difference from an in-house accountant: under Ukrainian labour law the liability of an employee is capped, so in practice the loss falls on the business owner.
What happens if the tax office schedules an inspection?
We support the inspection from the first request to the signing of the report: preparing documents and explanations, dealing with inspectors and, where needed, filing objections to the report.
If you are not yet a client and an inspection has already been scheduled, that is a separate service and we take those on too.
Can we order a single service rather than full support?
Yes. An audit, unblocking tax invoices, removal from the risky-taxpayer list, company registration or grant reporting can all be ordered on their own, without moving to full outsourcing.
Do you only work with companies in Kyiv?
No. The office is in Kyiv, but we serve clients across Ukraine, as well as representative offices of foreign companies and businesses registered abroad. Document flow is electronic and meeting in person is rarely necessary.
